The hosting environment is a combination of hardware, software and related infrastructure, which together form the medium from within which your online business will operate. It can be described as your business or personal virtual premises and it is commonly referred to as a Hosting Plan or Package. Like in a real life scenario, there are several options available and the cost varies accordingly.
Therefore, a thorough understanding of the hosting environment and its underlying infrastructure is strongly advisable. Nevertheless, there is one common problem facing any prospective web entrepreneur, and that is the lack of any "jargon free" explanation of this essential feature. Our aim is to change that, and provide you with the knowledge on which to base your decision on what you need for your site, and at the same time to offer you cost effective, reliable, managed hosting resources, customized to your specific requirements.
In short, NO. And here's why : Unlimited resources are actually nothing more than a marketing gimmick. In truth the hosting provider will have a large number of other restrictions in place which will prevent you from actually using a very large amount of disk space or hosting resources. Also, we believe that probably you don't even need 'unlimited' disk space or hosting resources.
To prove it consider this: a website page size [ even in the worst scenario ] does not measure more than 2 MB in size [ or it should not ]. Take a site with 10 pages. That gives us a website of 20 MB in size. The smallest hosting plans nowadays are way above that capacity. Taking our smallest hosting package as a reference, let's calculate if it's hosting space allowance would meet those requirements:
STORAGE SIZE ÷ AVG PAGE SIZE = # OF PAGES
10 GB = 100000 MB ÷ 2 MB = 50000
Now let's calculate the traffic allowance: Our smallest allowance is 100 GB. So, in order for you to use up that amount [ assuming your site will fall within the parameters above ] you would have to had somewhere near 5000 visitors a month and that each of them, would have accessed every single page of your website at least once. We will use the formula below to prove it.
TRAFFIC ALLOWANCE ÷ SITE SIZE = NUMBER OF VISITORS
10 GB = 100000 MB ÷ 20 MB = 5000
Do this exercise with any hosting plan out there. We used one of ours just as a reference. You should purchase a hosting plan that offers somewhere to 65/75% more capacity than you currently need or estimate to need it. This will give you room to add more content and handle more traffic spikes when your site really needs it. Anything else is as useless as the 'unlimited' features sales gimmick. Unfortunately for many, a financial waste too.

In layman terms, that's comfortably more than enough capacity to satisfy our and our clients present hosting requirements. Its usage or occupancy is always kept near 65/75% of the total capacity.

Please also note that we are not resellers of any third party hosting providers, and do not offer 'reseller' incentives to anyone. All our hosting infrastructure is dedicated to our customers, managed by us on their behalf, and therefore DIY hosting inquiries will not be entertained.
The one that suits most appropriately your operating needs. The suitability, fame or lack of either, associated with any hosting setup thereof, is in part due to the capacity of the hosting providers to set up and manage those resources [ or unfortunately as in too many cases the lack of it ]. As an end user, taking a decision on any hosting setup suitability all in your own, would be a rather superficial than an appropriate exercise. And in itself, this approach is not uncommon nor necessarily in its entirety wrong.
But do not let it be your own approach. You go to a doctor or a tailor and are not expected to be knowledgeable about the suitability of any procedure or the inner working of a sewing machine. With hosting should not be different. Also, to associate labels such as 'cheap', 'best' or 'the one' to any setup, is simply wrong. We do not offer any of those. And nor do it any respectable hosting service provider.
We do however recommend a suitable setup, only after a careful consideration of your requirements. And those recommendations are not tied to our hosting infrastructure, but rather to anyone out there that meets them.
